I used to play this game back in middle school. Now, I'm in my 40s, married, and have two children. It's one of the best games I ever played during that time. This game truly deserves a remake.

I played this game for the first time recently. After beating the game, I got curious and tried fighting fully-powered Deus. Gave me the impression that fully-powered Deus was the closest this game had to a Superboss, so thanks for giving me a glimpse of what it's like to stand a chance.

i really love this game...even my email is w3lltall (and still using it) also never fought it at full power, maybe i have to play it again and use Hardcore mod.

a xenogears remake would be definitely an instant buy. Damn. Imagine all those revamped graphics with that badass story.

I remember getting this game by accident for Christmas when it came out. My Uncle bought me Brave Fencer Musashi, but my Mom had already bought it for me too. We went to Sears to exchange it for a different game, I saw the cover for Xenogears and thought it looked cool so I got it... The rest is history, one of my favorite games of all time!

Team should've use raze ulrika et enna pepperoni lily. Raze for analyze and falling blades Ulrika for healing and uryu ultimate Et and enna for multiple turn attacks and interception Pepperoni for knockback bcs this boss speed is frickin high Lily for party defense and multiple turn attacks

Just replayed this game, and I gotta say, love this fight. The light mana king being such winy dude, and yet so bad ass, and he is just a mana too, something that is not new to anyone who play these games. The game can really hit high notes with the fights.

the boss is hard because the game doesnt explain jackshit about the crafting in this game. there are a lot of possible combination crystal skills that easily break the game. i beat this boss with lita meteor moves ONCE and it fucking died. i applied buffs and weakness and using weapon with OP passive skills ive seen from guide. i dont even need to change my equipment when fighting the gold boar which is much much much harder than the final boss. i did fail couple of times but i found a way to abuse skills that makes your character cant be hit by enemies so i did it with a few turns as well.

Even at full power Deus is very easy, you might lose 2 of your other characters but xenogears is practically untouchable. With an X-70 engine giving 8000 fuel, a frame HP 90% and a Z charger, you can quickly heal up 90% damage, then use it's innate 99% hyper chance to quickly get into hyper mode, then use charge twice to recover all the fuel. To ensure you don't get interrupted too often you can turn booster on (or just have Fei equipped with speed shoes), there should also be one more gear slot free, a magnetic coat should improve your response time ahead of Deus Edit: You can forgo the magnetic coat for another Z charger, which stacks with the previous one for a total of 1000 fuel per charge, or during hyper mode completely restore your fuel. Equip the holy pendant on Fei to also get 6 turns of hyper mode instead of 3, meaning you can use one turn to charge and the remaining 5 turns to attack, more than enough to give Deus a beatdown

idk i youre gonna reply or not, but it wont stop me from asking. how do you even strategize in this game where there's not indicator whatsoever about battle turn? do they have attack pattern like, once they do A attack, they give us 2 turns, or once they they do A B C attack, tehyre going to unleash ultimate attack that gonna wipe out the entire party if you dont defend, or something like that? are there any stat that increases turns (spd) like in arland, dusk, mysterious and ryza game? im just starting playing the game and still in tutorial town, but the battle tutorial in the first minute is really bugging me and i've search on google and it seems there's no answer to my question.
